Russel Richie

Russell Richie was a PhD student in the Language Creation Lab from 2011 to 2017. During that time, he primarily studied language emergence through field studies with Nicaraguan homesigners and NSL users, computational modeling, and experimental semiotics. Since graduating, he has been a postdoc at University of Pennsylvania, first in the marketing department, and now in the psychology department, where he uses natural language processing techniques to get insight into psychological and behavioral questions.
